The relation between
the steel-amplitude in the simulated transfer function and the bar
diameter-to-depth-ratio was introduced first in order to predict the
average steel amplitude for steel bars in good-bonded condition for
arbitrary steel arrangement in structures. The lower-valued steel
amplitudes were found by the impact-echo tests on the specimens vibrated
at early age, so were the lower local bound stress by the pullout tests.
The relations of loss of steel amplitude and local bound loss were
constructed for the specimens failed by pullout mode and split mode.
These relations can be applied for evaluating the bond loss of multiple
bars contained in the structural member. |
