Academic Exchange
新網頁1
International exchange plays an important
role in the university's development plans. In order to facilitate exchanges,
the university established an International Affairs Section, under the Office of
Technology Cooperation, in 1996 (renamed the "Section for Academic Exchange
and Cooperation", under Office of R&D, in August of 2003.)
The Section is responsible for handling
academic cooperation with sister schools and assisting in international,
technical and scientific cooperation and exchange. In December of 1997, the
university also established the Committee for Academic Exchange and Cooperation
in order to meet the growing needs of the university's cooperative
programs.
The academic exchanges at the university
include mutual visitation, faculty exchanges, visiting professors, scholarly
training, cooperative research projects, student exchanges, joint-degree
programs, enrolling of foreign students, study-abroad tours, co-organized
international conferences, and publication exchanges. The university will
continue to develop collaborative programs with well-known universities around
the world, in order to expand the range and depth of its international exchange
and cooperation.
