摘要(中):
本研究將先前設計之土壤液化箱並利用小型震動台,做震動液化試驗來探討大顆粒效應對液化的影響及相關行為研究。
研究結果顯示飽和砂質土壤試體含有粒徑1英吋的礫石其抗液化能力
是飽和砂質土壤試體含有粒徑0.5英吋的2倍到3倍左右;礫石與砂質土
壤之粒徑比超過100時,其大顆粒效應就愈趨於明顯;大顆粒效應在角狀
砂質土壤中,其改善土壤液化的效果更佳明顯。體積應變量隨著礫石含量
與相對密度的增加而減少。飽和砂質土壤含有礫石試體在Dr=60%其抗液化
能力約為Dr=30%之飽和砂質土壤含有礫石試體的2 ~ 5倍;礫石含量20%
∼30%時是一個明顯的分界點,簡言之當礫石含量超過25%時,則大顆粒
效應就愈趨於明顯;意即現地土層之礫石含量為25%以上,則此土層之抗
液化能力相對的較高,礫石含量超過50%以上則由礫石特性來控制。
本研究最後建立了礫石含量與礫石粒徑之正規化影響曲線,希望藉由此曲線的建立能使得礫石在未來土木工程界與臺灣學術單位能有所助益。
摘要(英):
The purpose of this research was to study the effect of large size on liquefaction-related behavior of sandy soils using portable soil tank and shaking table.
The results of the research reveal that the of liquefaction resistance of soils containing gravels with diameter around 1 inch is 2 ~ 3 times greater than that of diameter 0.5inch.When the ratio of diameter gravel to mean size of soils is over 100, its effects of large-size becomes much significant. Effects of large-size can more effectively improve the liquefaction resistance for soils with angular particales, and at the same time, also reduce the volume strain (settlement)resulting from liquefaction.This implies that , the bigger the diameter of gravel in soils, the smaller its volume strain from liquefaction. Experimental results also indicate that, sandy soil with Dr=60% has liquefaction resistance 2 ~ 5 times greater than that of a sandy soil with Dr=30%.Approximately when the content of the gravel is over 25%, gravel content influence on the liquefaction resistance becomes more significant.When the content of the gravel in the soils is over 50%, its liquefaction resistance is controlled by the gravel behaviors.
