摘要(中):
台灣西部麓山地帶與台地卵礫石層分佈甚廣,由於人口密集且極具發展,對於各項經濟、交通、公共建設工程也是重要的樞紐。國內學者在70年至今的卵礫石層相關研究發展過程中不斷努力,建立了不少現地試驗參數與方法,而數值分析程式則較少提出合理的分析結果及模型試驗數據,相對於利用分離元素法來分析卵礫石層之研究也甚少,目前為止尚無其他較完善之卵礫石層有關分離元素法之數值分析文獻可供參考,由於本研究延續國科會計畫,而對於利用分離元素法分析卵礫石層仍有許多的空間,因此就工程或學術上的應用而言,有必要對卵礫石層之相關行為做深入的研究與探討。
本研究之內容主要是以台灣西部麓山地帶之卵礫石層為研究對象,數值方法是採用PFC2D,以褚炳麟文章中所得之卵礫石土大型現地直接剪力試驗結果來求取(PFC2D)模型所需之參數,並將剪力試驗所需之相關參數與試驗方式加以探討,再將求得之相關參數利用代入模型中配合(PFC2D)撰寫程式語言模擬單支垂直地錨之數值模擬,另一方面,本研究並以數值分析之結果來探討與比較現地地錨試驗機制。

Gravel formations are distributed very widely in mountain areas of western foothill and tableland in Taiwan. These areas are densely populated and have developed very well. Constructions in these areas are important to the economy, traffic, and public. Studies on gravel formation have been worked for more than 20 years in Taiwan. Many useful data on in situ tests and analyzed methods have been established. However, numerical analyses using discrete element method (DEM) are still needed to establish the reasonable material parameters for gravel and failure mechanisms. The study is a continued research originally supported by National Science Council of Taiwan. There are lots of researches needed to be done on gravel formation using DEM. Therefore, the study on behavior of gravel formation is still useful and practical for engineering and academic point of view.
The gravel formation of this study is focus on the gravel at the western foothill of Taiwan. The main purpose of this study was to use the discrete element method based program Particle Flow Code (PFC2D) to study the micro parameters of frictional resistance between particles. The results of the large in situ direct shear tests on gravel formation by Chu et al. are used for simulation. The frictional parameters obtained by simulating the test results are discussed and the way using PFC2D to simulate are discussed in this study. These parameters are used in simulating the single vertical pile pulling in gravel formation. The results of simulation are used to compare the displacement response and failure mechanisms observed from the in situ tesings.
