Brief biography

Rung-Ching Chen received the B.S. degree from department of electrical engineering in 1987, and the M. S. degree from the institute of computer engineering in 1990, both from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. In 1998, he received the Ph.D. degree from the department of applied mathematics in computer science sessions, National Chung TsingUniversity. He is now a professor at the Department of Information Management in Chaoyang University of Technology, Taichung, Taiwan. His research interests include web technology, domain ontology, pattern recognition and knowledge engineering.
