This
laboratory provides adequate space and equipment for conducting ergonomics
related experiments. Students are trained to perform data
acquisition and analyses. Experimental results are also tested by
statistical analyses to verify fundamental theory of human factors.
Experiments cover measurements of anthropometry data, bio-signal, muscle forces, reaction time, environmental noise and lighting, and tests of human vision, hearing, tactile threshold, and coordination, and evaluation of man-machine interface, hand tool and workstation design. |
