Mission Statement |
The Innovation and Incubation Center is a unique office at CYUT.
Its purpose is to help enterprises develop new products, new techniques,
or even new companies. The center was established in 1999 with a major
financial support from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. The center
is equipped with updated facilities and occupies an area of around
530 square meters, capable of accommodating the offices of 12 companies.
The center is staffed by: one chairman; one manager; two project secretaries;
and one office clerk. The center handles all affairs related to cooperation
with local businesses, including: |

Maintaining a convenient, low-cost, and supportive
environment for participating companies |

Providing business diagnosis, consulting,
and other assistance |

Collecting business-related information
about government projects |
4. |
Assisting companies with the management report |
5. |
Promoting patent licensing and technology transfers
between the university and various companies |
6. |
Entering into strategic alliances with local companies |
7. |
Aiding companies to set up facilities and operate
in the industrial parks |
8. |
Holding meetings to provide assistance to the
resident companies (such as new product presentations or venture
capital solicitation) |
