    摘要(中) 技職教育創造經濟的奇蹟,惟國內產業快速變遷,學校課程內容窮於追趕。然而「考試引導教學」造成職校特色及功能日趨消失;技專校院課程規劃著重於理論課程,再加上技職體系課程縱向銜接及橫向整合不足,技職體系各級學校課程,未能連貫與銜接,將對學生升學、就業及其終身學習都將造成不利的影響。技職教育成功的關鍵在於課程,本計畫蒐集國內外相關文獻加以分析探討,另參考國內中部地區教授有關土木建築群專業課程教師、產業界專家及教授學者依實際的課程實施狀況與社會期待,再運用問卷調查方法與專家訪談方式,利用描述性統計、t檢定及變異數分析統計之方法,對現行課程與95年學校本位發展新課程對於學生升學的相關問題提出探討。並對未來課程發展與設計上能有所建議,以期能達到課程改革的理想─
    一、符應社會的快速變遷
    二、促進學生的適性發展
    三、學校本位課程設計,建立學校的特色
    四、教育體系縱向與橫向的銜接
    五、學生主體的建立,兼顧教學與發展
    六、重視學生類群、核心能力與基礎能力的培養
    摘要(英) Vocational education has contributed to creating an economical miracle in Taiwan. However, due to the rapid changing industries, current curriculum in vocational schools are hard pressed to catch up with the industrial needs. The emphasis on the “exam-guided teaching” has resulted in a gradual loss of functions and characteristics of vocational schools. Curriculum programs in vocational schools are often biased toward theoretical courses and do not have sufficient horizontal integration and vertical connection. The combined effects of these deficiencies are detrimental to students’ advancement to schools at higher levels, job perspectives, and lifetime learning. The key to the success of vocational education is a well-designed curriculum program. This project includes literature search and analyses of relevant information as well as consults with teachers, industrial experts, and professors in mid-Taiwan by questionnaire survey and in person interview on the teaching and implementation of civil engineering and architecture curriculum and expectations of the society. Descriptive statistics, t-test, and analysis of variance were used to assess the effects of the 2005 curriculum programs and the new 2006 school based curriculum on students’ advancement to schools at higher levels. To achieve curriculum improvement, several factors need to be considered in future curriculum development and design.
    1. Adjust to rapid changes in the society
    2. Promote the development of students’ adaptability.
    3. Adopt school based curriculum development and establish distinguishing  characteristics for each school
    4. Vertical integration and horizontal connectivity of educational systems.
    5. Establish students as main subjects, emphasize both teaching and development.
    6. Value cultivation of student aptitudes, core abilities, and basic skills.
