| 本研究原為在難能可貴的機會中，期待與將充滿紀念意義的紙管建築鷹取教堂拆卸搬移至台灣來重新搭建，但卻因台灣建築法令遲遲未能審查通過，延宕多少人對它的期待。研究內容包括阪神大地震日本人在震殤中為著群聚集會所集結所有志工搭建鷹取紙教堂過程，及日本建築紙管建築之父坂茂建築師，與他所建築所有有關紙建築介紹，與台灣為延續紙管建築生命的新故鄉基金會，將於埔里鎮桃米社區重現鷹取紙管建築教堂光輝。 新故鄉基金會將紙管建築材料，委托本校朝陽科技大學施作測試，並將試驗結果內容登錄，詳載現況紙管材料各項檢測作業，與增加紙管防水及耐久塗料介紹說明等，以提供紙管建築設計與應用之參考。 |

| This essay is to discuss the construction process of the Paper Dome church which was built by volunteers shortly after the devastating earthquake that shook the Kobe region in 1995, burning down the existing Takatori church. And to discuss the designer of this church, who is also the father of Japanese paper tube architecture ---Shingeru Ban, as well as his other paper tube constructions. When learning that the Paper Dome was to be disassembled in 2005, Taiwan’s Newhomeland Foundation offered to relocate this memorial design in Nan-Tou, which was also an earthquake post - disaster reconstruction region. Though the plan was once postponed by Taiwan’s architecture regulations, the modest Paper Dome would be able to stand in Ton-Mi village, Nan-tou, continuing to glow with warmth and love. The Newhomeland Foundation entrusts the testing of the material of Paper Dome to Chaoyang University of Science and Technology (CYUT). CYUT records down all the details of exam results, including the present condition of paper tube, water proof enhancement device, and endurable coating recommendation, etc., the data may be used as references for further apply and design of paper tube architecture. |
