基樁之分析與設計仍為一種藝術,雖有許多計算公式可供遵循,但因基樁在不同荷重階段之行為、影響因素、以及分析設計所應用之地層參數,仍然包括很多不確定因素,所以基樁設計在相當程度上仍然必須以經驗作為基礎,故基樁構築完成後仍然必須以進行現場試樁來確認其行為及承載力。近年國內施工之技術能力的提升;樁徑已達2公尺以上,樁長深至60-70公尺,每支樁之承載力,往往是數千噸,由於試驗工作的困難度頗高,因而導致試樁之資料有限;為確認大口徑長樁其承載能力及樁體沉陷行為,試樁資料得重新詮釋。
本文首先利用9種基樁靜載重極限承載力之判釋方法,作為分析及研究,但發現其結果差異甚多,續而利用Kulhawy所建議之以位移量/樁徑等於4%值定義極限承載力及修正Kulhawy兩種方法,來分析探討位於黏性土壤層與非黏性土壤層之基樁荷重/破壞閾值對位移量/樁徑之曲線圖差異,期望建立適用於台灣區域大部分地質之基樁靜載重試驗之極限承載力詮釋方法,期能使所設計基樁滿足最安全與最經濟雙重考量。

The design of piles is not only engineering but also artistic. There are a number of equations that can be followed to determine the ultimate loading capacity of a pile. Due to the varying physical behavior and uncertainty of stratum parameters, the design of the pile must based on the experience of engineers to a fairly extent. Thus, the pile load test should be carried out on site to ensure its behavior and loading will match the requirements of the design. The technical ability of domestic construction have improved dramatically, and allowed piles of diameter of over 2 meters and length over 60 to 70 meters to be constructed. These piles can be loaded to several thousand tons. It is very difficult to test these piles and obtain useful data on the behavior of the pile. The purpose of this research is to reassess the data of the pile load test and to confirm the loading ability and the settlement behavior of large diameter and long length piles itself.
First, the thesis studied and analyzed 9 of these categories and found a lot of differences. And use the Kulhawy’s method principle of applying 4% deformation of pile diameter to define the ultimate bearing capacity and the modified Kulhawy’s method. To analysis and discuss the differences of the curve diagram between the pile loading of the clay stratum/non-clay stratum, the deformation of the threshold value and the diameter of pile. The purpose of this study is to use the method of Kulhawy to establish the precise displacement requirements for the structure and to be safe and economical.
