Abstract As for the investigation in site of
liquefaction potential area or fault crushed belt, Taiwan mostly
selected the method of boring in the past, however the cost of human and
material resources is considerable, and if the geology is gravel, it
will bring mistakes more easily. Ground Penetrating Radar is a kind of
non-destructive survey skill with high resolution, which is widely
applied to the site investigation research abroad. This research
explores the special site above with the method of Ground Penetrating
Radar, to hope that site detection of gravel will be more accurate,
convenient, fast and economic. The detecting experiment of
Ground Penetrating Radar system mainly selects with the frequency of
250MHz to tie in with the software of RAMAC Ground Vision, doing the in
situ experiment, image collection and analysis in the liquefaction
potential area or fault crushed belt of Chelungpu Fault, and then
setting up the GPR Images Data Base Management System with the
corresponding software ACCESS. The research takes a
detection assay of Ground Penetrating Radar system, which is mainly used
in fault,liquefaction area and to establish the studying measure of
fault and liquefaction image. Besides, it will establish GPR Images Data
Base Management System, which is beneficial to image reservation, data
searches, comparison and use for beginner after Ground Penetrating
Radar, measure comparatively was established. |
