My research team has been to develop nondestructive test techniques and its applications of infrastructure evaluation for recent years. The techniques such as normalized impact-echo spectrum was used to evaluate the quality of bond at steel plate/concrete interfaces, Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) image processing for assessing the repair quality of spillway foundations, embankment, tunnel lining, harbor, and microwave interferometer for damage assessment of a prestressed simply supported bridge.
