Foreign Language Center of Chaoyang University of Technology is hosting a symposium on “Experiences

 on the Language Centers of Central Taiwan’s Universities”.  The purpose of this symposium is to

provide an opportunity for universities to share their experiences and to address relevant current issues. 

Directors of language centers in five universities will give an overview of their language centers.  There will also be panel discussion at the end of the program.

The following topics will be included:

1. Promotion of students’ self-study methods and their efficiency

2. The bridging system of leveled courses

3. Introduction of the tools of placement tests

4. Implementation of the graduation requirement of English proficiency
